April Monthly Favorites

Thursday, 2 May 2013

Hi Lovelies! So its time for my monthly favourites again! I can't believe that its May already, I know I say this every month..but this year has really flown by! Before I start talking about my favourites I just want to apologize that I haven't been replying to your comments, for some reason Blogger won't let me reply but I am still reading them and its still great to hear from you!

My first monthly favourite this month is a bit boring but still a great product, I picked up this nail varnish remover at the Pro Beauty show and its amazing. I used to wear acrylic nails quite a lot but didn't want to pay to get them taken off if I could do it at home and I found that all nail technicians really used was acetone so I picked up this pure acetone at pro beauty and I now use it to remove all my nail varnish. It takes off even stubborn nail varnish like glittery polish, super quickly so its great if you notice your nails are all chipped and your in a rush!

Secondly, a constant favorite of mine, the expert face brush by Real Techniques. This is currently the only foundation brush I own as I've only recently thought about applying my foundation with a brush but I love this one! Its so soft and great for getting in small areas like under your eyes and around your nose. If you want to know more about this product, you can see my full review here.

I'll move onto make up next. My first make up favourite has to be 'Knight Divine' eye shadow by MAC. I'm a great lover of MAC but unfortunately I don't own too many of their products because I don't currently live near a MAC counter :( Although after winning a giveaway this week I now currently own another MAC blush and have finally managed to start my MAC lipstick collection (let me know if you want me to do a review of these!)! Knight Divine is a great gunmetal grey/blue colour and it looks great on all skin tones. I love the subtle shimmer and it looks great for a smokey eye or even used to line your lashes if you want an alternative to grey. I love MAC eye shadows as theyre so pigmented and easy to apply and they have some great colours so I will definitely be getting more!

Another product which I have been loving for a while is Benefit Cosmetics 'Hervana' blush. The colours all swirled together give a really pretty pink/peach colour and it looks great on my pale skin. I think this is a really pretty spring colour and is the perfect shade to bring some life to your skin without looking too overdone. If you want to know my full opinion on this product you can see my full review here. I love Benefit products and so far I haven't had one that I've hated, and there are loads on my wishlist at the moment!

Moving onto scents, I've mentioned this Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' body wash in my bathtime pampering post which you can see here. I got this as part of a gift set for Christmas from my brother as he knows that I love the daisy perfume. I think its a really pretty, girly scent that can work great in spring time. This body wash has the tiniest shimmer in it which gives you skin a really lovely glow and it feels so luxurious to use, I love to use it when I'm having a pampering day, so basically every Sunday!

And last but not least, I love the Chanel 'Chance au Fraiche'. I've wanted this perfume for years and I finally got some for Christmas, its such a lovely fresh smell and if I could sit there and smell it all day I would, I don't really know what it is about this smell but its addictive, you should definitely all get down to your local Chanel counter and try it for yourself!

Do you love any of these products? Or have any alternatives/dupes that I should try? I'd love to know!
