Hey Dolls! If you've been reading my blog then you'll know that I recently picked up some Benefit products when I went shopping with my birthday money. I've recently been getting really into highlighters and now notice the dramatic difference that they make to your face and overall complexion I usually use my Benefit HighBeam which I love but I thought it was time to expand my collection with Watt's Up, something that I've had my eye on for months!
Watt's Up is a beautiful champagne coloured highlighter which goes great on pale skin like mine, or when I've got a bit of a (fake) tan. The highlighter comes in a stick form which you twist out and apply to your face, much like the Benefit Stay Flawless primer I have. On the other end of the highlighter is a blending sponge which I love. I only use this on my cheek bones as it would be quite hard to apply to my brow bone and I much prefer the consistency of HighBeam for under my brows. I love the blending sponge it comes with and think its a really nice touch because it means you can control how subtle the shimmer is.
Watt's Up is very pigmented and creamy which is what I was looking for as I was slightly worried that the stick form might be hard to work with but it's a dream to blend and leaves you with a natural looking champagne shimmer. This product is slightly on the pricey side though at £24.50 which is why I waited so long to buy it but I'm so glad I did and it's now becoming a regular part of my make up routine.
What are your favourite highlighters I've currently got my eye on one of the MAC MSF's and the Topshop skin glow!
P.s As some of you may know, I've been nominated to win 'Best New Beauty Blog' in the Cosmo Blog Awards, I'm still in shock that I was even considered but I would love it if you could vote for Lipgloss and Lashes! You can vote for me and the other contestants here.
This looks GORGEOUS! It has been on my wishlist for a little while now, and your post makes me want it even more. It looks so so pretty.

I really need to get this product. I've heard lots of fab reviews and I haven't bought any benefit products in a long time.

This was one of the first highlighters I've tried and it made me fall in love with powders. I know people love this but I just didn't find it to be all the blend able and just made me look like a sweaty mess! I'm really glad you like it though! If I can suggest some others I'd have to say MAC's Soft & Gentle or NARS Miss Liberty! Any of MAC's MSF's are amazing!
