Ardell Natural 120 Eyelashes | Review

Saturday, 14 September 2013

Hi Girlies! It seems like I've been away from blogging for ages, although it's only been a week! This week has been a tough one for me so I decided to not write any posts until I felt better about everything. At the beginning of the week I had my first experience of the nasty side of the blogging community which really left me feeling down so I felt it was best I stayed away for a few days then just as I was feeling better my wisdom teeth thought they would try and made another experience and oh my god, it's never been as painful as this time. I couldn't eat or sleep which was never a good combination with all the painkillers I've been taking just to make it through the day without crying from the pain so I think it's fair to say I've been feeling a little down but I'm feeling slightly more like my usual self now, or at least I'm on my way so I thought it was time to get back to blogging!

I've been a massive fake eyelashes fan for a few years now and have always wanted to try some Ardell Lashes but none of the Boots near me stock them, so when Ball Beauty Supply asked me if I would like to try some of their Ardell eyelashes, I jumped at the chance. They come in black and brown but I chose black as I always apply mine with black mascara so brown would have looked a bit silly but if I was faking the natural look then brown would definitely be my choice.

I received the 120 design which I love as they aren't too full on. I like my eyelashes to have volume and add to my natural lashes but without looking too fake. The Ardell lashes have a more wispy design meaning that the ends aren't so blunt which is usually what I find makes false eyelashes look fake. Another thing I love about these eyelashes is the band that you apply glue to. It's super thin so it's really easy to apply them on your actual lash line and it practically dissapears into your natural lash line making them really seem like your natural lashes.

These lashes cost around £3 or $3.50 which I think is an amazing price for good quality fake eyelashes, as these could definitely give Eyelure a run for their money. However, they do not come with lash glue. This doesn't bother me as I always use my own glue anyway but if you prefer lashes that come with glue then these are probably not for you.

  1. These look like they'll be totally stunning on! I usually buy Ardell lashes when I just need a pair for a night out.
Hope the wisdom teeth are feeling better!

  4. I've only tried one pair of lashes from Ardell and I loved them - they lasted all night (and lashes typically come off my eyes so easily). This style looks amazing. Great review.
