Company Beauty Week | Origins & Headmasters Events

Saturday, 7 September 2013

Hi Ladies! I hope you've all had a great week, I've had a fab week as I was lucky enough to attend some of the Company Beauty Week events. On Thursday night I attended the Origins Ginzing event at the OXO tower and last night I got to attend the amazing Headmasters event in Hanover Square. I had such a brilliant time at both events and now can't wait to attend more in the future, so a big thank you to the lovely ladies over at Company Magazine for putting on such wonderful events!

Origins Ginzing Event

On Thursday night I headed over to the OXO tower for the Originz Ginzing event. I met up with a couple of other bloggers who I knew were going to the event to calm our nerves and so we didn't have to walk in alone. The venue was amazing, you can see from the photos that we had an amazing view of London, especially when it got dark and all the buildings were lit up. Also, you could actually move around at this event! I've been to so many events where it's been so hot and you can barely move so it was a nice change to go somewhere which was comfortable. Firstly, we headed over to the photo booth which Company had set up (I'll instagram a picture soon!) which was really fun except it was a little squished in there! The editor of Company also stood up and welcomed us all telling us that we could get facials at the event if we wanted, I chose not to because I didn't want to walk all the way home with no make up on and scare everyone! Instead, I spoke to one of the consultants on hand who matched me up to the right range of their skincare as I had never tried Origins and didn't really know which one to go for.

I had an amazing time chatting to other bloggers and meeting some new bloggers, and on the way out we received a little goodie bag! Mine had a night cream, Company magazine and a few other little bits inside but I'm going to post on these separately and review all the products.

Headmasters Event

The Headmasters event which I attended yesterday was much smaller with fewer bloggers, which was great as I got to talk to the Company beauty team who are all really lovely, while enjoying a glass of champagne and trying my first ever macaroon! We were given a menu of different blow drys which we could have or we could make up our own option. I chose the Bergdorf Bounce which has a side parting and a little volume at the top with big bouncy curls at the bottom. I absolutely love my hair and it was such an amazing treat to get my hair properly done at a salon instead of just a wash, cut and straighten.

After we had our hair done the Company team took a photo of us all and posted it on their Instagram page so if you want to see my finished hair you can take a look there or on my personal instagram page. We were also given two goodie bags which were full of some amazing things including tonnes of hair products, a book by my favourite author, make up, a voucher to go back to Headmasters, and loads more! I'm going to be posting all about the goodie bags soon so I don't want to ruin the surprise!

I had such an amazing time at both of these events so once again, I just want to thank the Company team for letting me come. I can't wait to try out all my goodies and I'll be posting about them very soon!
