Hello Ladies! Today I have decided to put myself on a little spending ban as I am trying (and failing) to save up for a new laptop to use at Uni next year. Mine is on it's way out and I'm sick of not wanting to check my bank balance to see the extortionate amount of money that I have spent on beauty products and make-up. I won't be posting updates on my spending ban as I don't think you (my readers) will be particularly interested, but if I'm wrong then please do let me know in the comments below - and expect to see a lot more 'shopping the stash'.
In the morning I really have no time to indulge in a proper skincare routing, it's basically cleanse moisturize, get ready and get out the door - which then leads to me legging it to the tube station so that I am on time for work. Night time is really when I get to take care of my skin and treat it to everything it needs to keep it looking clear and healthy. So here are the product I use to look after my skin before I head to the land of nod.
To remove my make up I'm using L'Oreal Micellar Solution, I find that this get's rid of most of my make-up, making my cleanser's life easier as it works to tackle my skin problems. I also use Elemis 'White Flowers' eye and lip make-up remover* to remove any tough waterproof mascara as this doesn't irritate my eyes and leaves them nice and soft.
Next, I like to use the Elemis Fresh Skin 'Skin Clear' Facial Wash*, I used to suffer with bad acne and still have breakouts now, so I like to make sure my skin is kept clear by using an acne fighting cleanser which doesn't irritate my dry and sensitive skin. I love this product as it does everything I need it to and will definitely be checking out some of the other product in the range.
Next up is my Skinetica*, I just sweep this over my skin and leave to air dry as it helps to keep my skin staying clear. I have only been testing this out for a short amount of time but I have already seen a huge difference in my skin and am definitely going to continue using it. I won't say too much about this as there will be a full review coming up soon.
After all of these steps are out of the way, I like to treat my skin to this Origins Night-a-Mins Night Cream*, I never used to like night creams as I found them too thick for my skin which would cause breakouts, but this cream has left my skin looking dewy and restored its natural glow without clogging my pores. It has been such a saviour for when my skin is extra dry and now I can't go without it. I also like to use a Burt's Bee's lip balm on my lips to make sure that they are nice and soft for when I wake up the next day, as nobody likes chapped lips. This one is in Pomegranate and is super moisturizing, I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to try out a new lip balm.
It is fantastic that you take such good care of your skin! I definitely wish I was as diligent.

You've completely convinced me that I need to try the Origins night cream. It's kind of pricey which is why I have been on the fence, but you've described exactly what I'm after so it'll come home with me very soon :o). Xx
