New Limited Edition Sleek Make Up | Celestial iDivine and New Mascras

Sunday, 27 October 2013

Hello Lovelies! Recently I've been really loving the Sleek eye shadow palettes. They were reccomended to me in one of the blogger chats, so off I went to Superdrug to get the Oh So Special palette. I was so suprised at the brilliant pigmentation in all 12 eye shadows for only £8 and Celestial is no different.

The Celestial iDivine Palette* is this winter's limited edition palette by Sleek and I would get your hands on it quick if I were you as it's bound to sell out like all of the other Sleek Limited Edition products I try (and fail) to get my hands on! Celestial brings together iridescent midnight blues and deep purples to create the illusion of the stars and allows you to create glistening night time looks, perfect for the party season!

Like all Sleek pallette's, Celestial contains 12 pigmented shades, however I found that some of them were much more pigmented than others so you may have to apply some of them with caution as to not apply too much make up! Whenever I post about eye shadows I usually get asked in the comments to include a picture of how I would wear the product and a look which I would create, so I have finally listened to you! Below is a picture of a autumnal purple look I created with the palette, I'd probably wear this on a night out when I can be much more daring with my eye shadow choices but I love the look overall. I made this look completely using this palette, showing that this really is all you need to create an eye look. I'm also wearing the Full Fat Lash mascara in this picture.

Sleek are also releasing two new mascara's and I was lucky enough to be sent one to test out. I was sent the Full Fat Lash Mascara* which has a ball tip to allow you to build each lash, much like the Benefit They're Real wand. The wand on this mascara is super flexible meaning that it's easy to reach the corners of your eyes, and you can see from the above picture that it really does thicken and lengthen your lashes. What more could you ask for from a mascara which only costs £6.99?

I also love the packaging of both of these products, they're well...sleek haha. They look much more high end than they are and I love the simple black look of all of the skeek products, very similar to some MAC and Nars packaging.

I'd love to know what you think of me including an eye look in my posts and your thoughts on Sleek products!

  1. The palette looks gorgeous! The berry colour looks similar to MAC's "Cranberry". I'm going to try and get my hands on this beauty! ♥

  2. This palette looks beautiful but probably not right for me as I generally stick to neutrals! I'd also recommend any of the sleek blushes xo

    1. I usually tend to stick to neutrals too, but I think I'll use it on nights out when I'm a bit more daring! I've never actually tried any of their blushers but when I move some of my make up back home so I have space I'm definitely going to pick one up! xx
