OOTD: Paint The Town Red with Vaseline

Sunday, 20 October 2013

Hi Girlies! A little while ago I was contacted by Vaseline to see if I would like to take part in their latest blogger challenge. I love taking part in these blogger challenges as they give me some inspiration on what to post, but this one was a little different as it was all about an OOTD, something which I don't usually do.

Firstly, I apologize for the picture quality, I'm back in London now so I can't use my Mum as a makeshift photographer and self timer just isn't the same. Also, now that the days are getting darker there was just no proper light to take these photos in but I've done my best.

The idea was to create an outfit that you would wear on a night out which featured something red to go with the launch of the new limited edition red tinted Vaseline. I decided to go for this outfit as it's still dressy enough to wear on a night out but it's a good option if you don't want to get your legs out or wear a dress. The red part of my outfit that I decided to include were my berry colored leggings from Boohoo. They're like disco pants but they're actually leggings, I didn't want to opt for full on red as I find that wearing bright red usually makes me look, well, red and that's never a good look.

I paired them with a white shirt that I got from Primark that has some little diamante detailing on them and with a matching necklace which I also picked up when I was in Primark.

As you can probably tell, I'm not the best at OOTD's and they aren't my favourite thing to do but I think when I get a better set up and a half decent camera I may start doing a couple whenever I get dressed up for something. I'd love to know what you think, or if you think I shouldn't bother! I will be doing a full review of the new limited edition Vaseline soon so keep a look out!

  1. You look stunning! Love the necklace it's so pretty x

  2. Love the berry leggings! I've never found anything I like on Boohoo.com but I'll definitely see if I can find these on there!
