The #RushBloggerMeet

Top - Bottom: Rush Hair Salon, One of the many haircare displays, Mii make up display, The amazing food, Me having an oxygen facial, a live botox demonstration and the lovely Kimberley's OPI manicure.

Hello Beauties! As some of you probably know, over the last couple of months I have been working hard with the team at RUSH Hair & Beauty to organised my own bloggers meet up. Yesterday, after months and months of hard work it was finally time to welcome the bloggers to the House of Rush (RUSH's flagship store) in Picadilly and nerves were at an all time high! I was so worried that nobody would turn up or that people wouldn't have a good time but as bloggers started to walk through the door my nerves eased a little and when most of the bloggers had arrived I was able to go and enjoy the event that we had all worked so hard to put together.

It was lovely to see some familiar faces, as well as meeting some lovely new bloggers while being pampered by the team at Rush and sipping on champagne. At the event, we were able to enjoy Oxygen facials which were an odd but refreshing experience, OPI and Essie manicures, Fabulips (a facial for your lips) and we also got to learn more about Botox while seeing a live demonstration. Before attending the event I was very against Botox as I thought it just made everyone look plastic but in reality, in small amounts it can make a lovely difference to your face. I still don't think it's for me as I am only 20 but I can see how some people might like it.

The House of Rush really is a luxurious hair salon, I loved the elegant decor and was really suprised at the size of the salon. When you first arrive it doesn't look that big as they only have a reception area downstairs, however when you go upstairs you realize that it has so much more to offer. Along with its beautiful decor, it has some amazing displays of my favourite hair care brands. Some of the displays even come with an iPad to help you choose which products are best suited to your hair which I think is an amazing idea as it is very easy to feel overwhelmed when there are so many hair care products to choose from.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and made my time at hosting an event so fun, and an even bigger thank you to Laura from Rush, who helped me put the event together. She really has been amazing and I wouldn't have been able to put the event on without her.
