Lush Candy Mountain Bubble Bar | Review

Monday, 9 December 2013

Hello Beauties! I know, I know, yet another Lush product! As you can tell, I've been loving Lush lately and I don't think my obsession will be going any time soon! If you read a lot of beauty blogs regularly, you're probably sick of hearing about the Candy Mountain bubble bar or the Snowfairy scented products, but I thought I would review this product for you as I always get a bit stuck on what to choose in Lush and never know which products do what!

I picked up this product as one of my twitter followers said they thought I would love it as they had read my Snowfairy review, and she was right, I do love the scent of this! If you're unsure what a bubble bar is, it's basically like a solid bubble bath. You just break a bit of the bar (or mountain in this case!) off and crumble it under running water so that it creates lots of lovely bubbles and most of them change the colour of your water.

Candy Mountain smells exactly as you would expect it to, very sweet and girly, it's basically candy floss in a bubble bar. If you love the smell of Snow Fairy, then you'll love this as it smells exactly the same. If your not into your sweet scents then I wouldn't recommend this as it will probably be a bit sweet and sickly for you.

When this is crumbled under running water it turns your bath water a lilac colour which wasn't really what I was expecting but it was still a nice colour, and what I love about it the most is that it makes the water ever so slightly shimmery! When I first saw the shimmer in the water I was slightly worried that I would leave my bath resembling a disco ball but instead it left a lovely subtle shimmer on my skin which really just looked like you had healthy glowing skin unless you looked very closely and saw that it was glitter.

Overall, this is a really lovely product but I wouldn't say it is my favourite Lush bubble bar, The Comforter is my all time favourite and definitely takes some beating!

  5. This looks so pretty and it sounds nice too. I haven't tried a Lush bubble bar yet. I'll have to take a look at some before Christmas is over so I can get my hands on the festive products.
