Ever since I first laid eyes on this palette, I knew I needed it. One of the other placement students at Disney and fellow blogger, Georgina, tweeted me a picture of the Naked 3 when the news that it was being released broke and I knew I needed it. I'm quite boring when it comes to eyeshadows, choosing to stick to neutrals, pinks, lilacs and golden tones over brighter, more 'out there' shades so this palette looked perfect for me.

I've had this for a few days now after ordering it from the Debenhams website and it's love. Each shade is buttery soft and very pigmented, meaning that they are easy to apply and blend out. I never bought the Naked 2 palette as it looked very similar to the Naked palette which I already own and when Urban Decay said they were releasing a third, I thought that it would be the same case. Luckily for me, that wasn't the case or I would be pretty dissapointed after spending a small fortune on the palette! All of the shades have a rose gold undertone whilst still being neutral enough to wear everyday or if you like to shy away from brighter colours like me.

The palette contains 12 eyeshadows, all with a rose gold hue, which allow you to use colours together to create different looks. The colours included are (L-R):

Strange - A very light creamy pink colour which is perfect for highlighting your brow bone or your tearduct area to brighten your eyes.

Dust - A light shimmery light pink colour with silver specks. I love this colour but you do need to be careful of fallout with the shimmery shades in this palette.

Burnout - A satin rose gold colour very similar to Dust, just a little darker and less sparkly.

Limit - This is a matte light pink colour. This eyeshadow is so unbelievably creamy making it so easy to work with and blend out.

Buzz - Much like Dust, this is a shimmery rose gold shade with more of a purple tinge to it.

Trick - This is a copper shade with a rose gold undertone and one of my favourites in the palette.

Nooner - This is another matte shade. It's much darker than limit and is more of a mauve shade.

Liar - A satin mauve shade perfect for your lid or crease colour when teamed with Nooner.

Factory - This is a few shades darker than Liar and is more of a rose gold chocolate shade.

Mugshot - This is a darker brown colour and looks great through your crease or to darken up your look for an evening look.

Darkside - This is a charcoal brown shade which could be used as a liner or for a smokey eye look.

Blackheart - This is a dark brown, almost black shade with tiny specks of gold and a purple/red colour shimmer running through it. I love this shade as a liner or to darken up my look for the evening.

The Naked 3 palette also comes with samples of all 4 primer potions so you can test out which one suits you best before deciding to buy one which I think is a great idea and a nice little extra when your spending this much on your make up. One thing I love about the Naked 3 is that it is made from 12 all new shades so there are no repeats from other palettes and you won't be repurchasing ones which you already own as single eyeshadows.

I love this palette and have no regrets spending that much money on it as I know it's something I will get a lot of use out of and I love every shade included. Do you need this palette and is it worth the hype? For me, yes. If you love neutral eyeshadows and want to mix up your look a bit then this is perfect for you as its different without being too out there.

  2. I've never really been particularly interested in the naked palettes but these shades do look so pretty swatched on your arm. I am tempted by it, but I would never pay the full price for it, so I might have to wait to try and catch it in a sale sometimes or try and win one :)

  3. Lovely review! I've been considering trying this for a while but was a little unsure whether it was worth all the hype, but again, it does sound like a good little product from your review. Might have to brave the sale shoppers and head into town! :) x
