Le Keux Cosmetics 'Peachy Keen' Lip & Cheek Tint | Review & Swatches

Sunday, 5 January 2014

Hello Ladies! I hope you've all had an amazing weekend! Today I'm planning to head down to Primark and TK Maxx to pick up a few little bits that I'm missing and in need of, and then I need to do the dreaded spring cleaning! I think it's time to move my room around a bit and sort through all of the clutter. I'll be moving out this year and god knows how I'm going to fit all of my stuff in the car!

Anyway, onto the actual post! I was recently sent this lip and cheek stain by Le Keux Cosmetics* to try as they thought it would be perfect for my skin tone after seeing some of my recent FOTD's. Le Keux cosmetics was founded by the owners of Le Keux salon in Birmingham which is a vintage inspired salon, so for all you vintage and Cath Kidston lovers out there, this may be right up your street!

The shade I was sent was 'Peachy Keen' which is a lovely deep peach colour with a hint of mauve when swatched, however when blended out it's a lovely coral/peach colour which I think will be great for spring and summer. As it's a cream product it's really long lasting and gives your cheeks and lips a nice peach stain. I prefer to use this for my lips though as I'm still not sure I love the idea of cream blushers, but that's just me - this product works perfectly well as a cream blusher.

Another thing I noticed about this product was, of course, the packaging. I'm such a sucker for pretty packaging and have been known to buy things just because of the packaging in the past (bad - I know!) and Le Keux did not disappoint. The pretty vintage inspired packaging is so cute and would look so pretty on my dressing table if I had one, but hey, a girl can dream!
