Skincare Haul

Monday, 13 January 2014

Hello Lovelies! One of my New Years resolutions this year was to sort my skin out. I'm sick and tired of having horrible, spotty skin and at 20 I really think that my skin should have cleared up. Don't get me wrong, my skin has improved dramatically from what it used to be and I would no longer consider myself to be suffering from acne, but I'd love a clear, smooth complexion.

Firstly, I picked up the Elemis Skin Clear cleanser from the Fresh Skin range. This is actually a repurchase for me, I was originally sent this to try out and I loved it so much, I bought two more of them in the Feel Unique sale. They were only discounted by around 15% but every little helps and I knew I would continue to repurchase it so I thought I best stock up and get myself two. This is a great cleanser for spot prone, teenage skin. It helps to controll my oil and clear up my break outs when they happen. I really noticed a difference in my skin when I ran out of this and had to switch to a different cleanser so I'm glad to have it back in my life now.

The second thing I picked up was the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Day Cream. I've had my eye on this for a while after reading about it on some blogs and so far I've been loving it. I love the packaging, the texture and the way it makes my skin feel. I won't say too much as I have a full blog post on this wonder cream coming up in the next few weeks when I've properly tested it, but if you want to try this now would be a good time to pick it up as it's currently on sale in Boots.

And last but not least, I ordered the REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask from the REN website after I was kindly given a discount code from another blogger. So many of you recommended this mask and the Origins alternative to me when I said I wanted something to treat my pores and clear my skin up. I decided to go for the REN mask as I sometimes find that Origins products break me out, and this one was a little cheaper, and less perfumed. I've only used this a couple of times but my skin has never felt better, again, I won't say too much on this one as I have a full blog post coming up when I've properly tested it out.

I know what you mean, I'm now 20 as well, and I always thought spots would stop after my teenage years
