Beautiful Movements Cosmetics Lipgloss Trio | Review

Sunday, 30 March 2014

Hello Ladies! I hope your all well and have been enjoying the beautiful weather we've been having this weekend! Today I thought I'd pop up a review of these Beautiful Movements Lipglosses* that I've been testing out recently.

If you didn't already know, Beautiful Movements is a cosmetic company founded by Kimberley Wyatt, which specializes in cruelty free cosmetics. Their products are also free from bismuth oxychloride, parabens, nano particles and synthetic dyes and fragrances - so basically all that bad stuff!

The colours which I have been testing out are Cherry Bomb, Gypsy Spirit and Nude. Cherry Bomb looks like a true red in the packaging, however when it's applied it goes on quite sheer giving you a more subtle wash of red, which is perfect for me as I'm not really one for statement red lips! Gypsy Spirit is my favourite colour of the three, it's a lovely orange toned pink colour, perfect for summer. This would look perfect over the top of 'Morange' lipstick by MAC or as an alternative if that's a fave of yours. Lastly, I was also given 'Nude' to try. Nude is a classic nude gloss which looks really pretty with a statement smokey eye to balance out your look.

The glosses go on ultra smooth and aren't sticky at all which is always something I look for in lipglosses because nobody liked their hair getting caught in their lipgloss! I've only tried three of the glosses so I can't comment on the whole range, but the pigmentation does vary throughout. Cherry Bomb goes on quite sheer, however the other two that I was sent go on very creamy and pigmented so I think it really does depend on which colour you go for.

Overall, I really like these lipglosses. They aren't super long lasting, but that's not something I expect from a lipgloss but they do go on really smooth and they feel really nice on your lips. If you a lipgloss fan, then I'd definitely reccomend checking Beautiful Movements out.
