Eucerin Micellar Water | Review & Comparisons

Wednesday, 16 July 2014

Hello Beauties! Since Micellar waters took the beauty world by storm, I've tried countless brands trying to find the perfect micellar water for me. So, when Eucerin asked me if I'd like to try their new Micellar Water* of course, I said yes. I still haven't tried Bioderma yet, as I wanted to test out the cheaper brands first (at the moment Garnier is the best I've tried).

The Eucerin DermoClean 3 in 1 Micellar Water has three functions, it acts as a facial cleanser, eye make up remover and toner. It's also suitable for all skin types and has been tested on sensitive skin, something which I always look for in my skincare as I often struggle with products being too harsh for my skin, causing dryness and breakouts.

The Eucerin micellar water is extremely mild and gentle on the skin, and I find that it removes most of my make up effectively with just one swipe. I found that tougher eye make up needed a couple of tries at removing it, but no more than the Garnier and L'Oreal micellar waters. I find that the formula is most comparable to the L'Oreal formula, as I did find it left my skin feeling a bit tacky and sticky, like the L'Oreal one did. However, if you're a big fan of the L'Oreal micellar water then I'd definitely recommend giving it a go.

I would really recommend this micellar water to anyone suffering with dry or sensitive skin, as it works as an excellent make up remover, but it doesn't dry out your skin or irritate it like some other micellar waters. However, the Garnier one still comes out on top for me.

Lots of Love,

Becky x x

    1. I love them! They're a great way of removing your make up before you cleanse your skin, and I find that it helps my cleanser work better to deep clean my skin, as it's not also got to remove my make up! The one's I'd recommend are this one and the Garnier one - I found the L'Oreal one a little too sticky xx
