June Favourites

Hello Beauties! Once again, I'm late to the party with my favourites post! I'm not even sure if I posted one last month or not, everything has gotten so hectic recently that I'm struggling to keep track of what I have and haven't posted. Anyway, without further a due, here's what I've been loving this month.

MAX Factor Face-Finity 3-in-1 Foundation

I discovered this foundation earlier this year and absolutely loved it, but for one reason or another I stopped using it completely and even left it at home ready for when I moved back. Since moving home, I've rediscovered this foundation and I've been using it non stop. This is one of the few foundations that keeps my face matte for most of the day and oily/shiny skin is something that has been getting me down recently, do this has worked wonders for my confidence. Also, as this foundation also acts as a concealer, I've found that most days I don't feel the need to apply additional concealer apart from the odd occasion where the foundation fails to cover up those pesky dark circles! The only negative I have about this foundation is that it does pick up on every lump and bump in your skin and as I'm breaking out at the moment, it hasn't been ideal. However, this has still been my most used and most loved foundation this month.

Maybelline Master Brow Pencil

It's not often that I try drugstore brow products, as I often find the colours are too dark or they just aren't soft enough to create a natural look. However, when I ran out of my beloved Trish McEvoy Brow Shaper, I decided it was time to try something from the drugstore. Someone told me that Maybelline did a brow pencil which was quite natural looking, so off I popped to Boots one lunch break. Fast forward two months and I've already stocked up on this so I have two back ups. This pencil is super easy to use and is also a little waxy, so it's great for keeping your brows in place all day long. I do like to add a little bit of brow powder on top just to soften the look, but all in all, you can't go wrong with this brow pencil for only £2.99.

L'Oreal Glam Bronze Bronzer

It seems like I was having a bit of a drugstore moment this month, possible due to the fact that I was leaving my job and this would be my last proper pay check! I picked this up after hitting pan on my Benefit Hoola Bronzer and being too poor to replace it, and I'm really glad I did. This is the perfect contour and is also amazing at creating an all over glow to warm your face up a little. I's really recommend trying this out if you don't want to fork out the money for Benefit Hoola Bronzer.

Mitchum 48 Hour Deodorant

This may seem like an odd thing to include in my favourites post, but this is the only deodorant I will buy and with the hot weather this month, it seemed like a good idea to include it. This stuff is pretty much industrial strength which gives me the confidence to go out on a hot day, like the ones we've been having, and not have to worry about smelling not-so shower fresh. I'll definitely be stocking up on this for my holiday later this month.

Headmasters Super Smooth Blowdry Cream

I've had this sitting in my draws for months now and never even thought about using it, but with the recent hot weather, my hair has been crazy. I have very curly hair which I straighten, and whenever its hot it's frizz central, so in a last attempt to tame the frizz I thought I'd give this a go. I'm really impressed by this blow dry cream, as soon as the heat from the hair dryer hit my hair, I noticed a difference. It really helps to keep your hair sleek and smooth and eliminate frizz. Since using it that first time, I can't be without it. I'd really recommend this if you're going anywhere with humid weather, because nobody wants to be caught doing a 'Monica' in all of your holiday snaps.

Lots of Love,

Becky xx

  7. I am quite a fan of the Maybelline Brow Pencil, my only problem with it is that mine has gone down really quick! But for like £3 can't really complain,

  12. I have to say I love Mitchum deodorant, literally would not use any other brand. Although I use the bar, I swapped to try the roll on but my skin was too sensitive for it became really irritated.
