Physicians Formula Nude Wear Bronzer | Review

Wednesday, 13 August 2014

Hello Beauties! If you've seen any of my recent haul posts, then you'll know that I picked up this little beauty while I was in Miami in July. While I was browsing the beauty isles of Walmart (and being generally shocked at the size of the drugstore collections they have, seriously why don't we have this much in the UK?!) I spotted the Physicians Formula section and couldn't resist picking a few bits up.

I've seen these Nude Wear blushers and bronzers on various YouTubers Instagram accounts and knew that they had to me mine, the packaging is just to die for and anyone who knows me knows I'm a bit sucker for something in a pretty package. The product comes in a beautiful ballet pink leather effect compact with a cute little pink metallic bow at the top, as you can tell I've seriously fallen for the packaging of this range. The compact also opens up at the back to reveal a mirror and a brush, which although I don't think is necessary as I probably won't use it, is still a nice touch for a drugstore product.

I picked up the bronzer in fair/light as it looked like the perfect colour for my fair complexion. I often struggle with bronzer making me look a little orange or muddy, as I can never find a great match for my skin, but this one is perfect. The product is made up of four different shades of bronzer, all with a light shimmer but nothing too sparkly and golden shimmer 'Nude Wear' writing embossed on top of the bronzer, which pretty much disappears the first time you use it. I like to swirl all of the colours together, as they're a bit to small to use them on their own, which creates the perfect light bronze powder to warm up my fair complexion. As I mentioned, the bronzer does contain a little bit of shimmer, but it's nothing too overpowering - it's just enough to warm up your face and give you a slight glow without making you look like you've rolled in glitter. It's the perfect addition to any natural or bronzed make up looks.

For a drugstore brand, I was blown away with this product from Physicians Formula, and if I lived in the US where I had better access to the brand, I'm sure it would be making a much more regular appearance in my make up collection.

Lots of Love,

    1. Haha the main reason I bought it was because of the packaging, I think even if I hated it I'd still have to keep it just for decoration! x x
