L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil | Review

Wednesday, 24 September 2014

Hello Beauties! Back in June when I left work at Disney, my lovely Boss surprised me with a few beauty goodies to say thank you for everything and good bye, and one of them was this L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil. I've been using this a fair bit since then, but I completely forgot to blog about it which is a shame, as it's brilliant.

At first I was slightly unsure about this product as I'd never used a shower oil before, neither had I tried anything from L'Occitane but I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, lets talk about the scent. I'm not usually one to go for almond scents, as I'm usually drawn to the more fruity scents, however, this stuff smells heavenly. It smells like sweet almonds and vanilla and is just perfect without being too sweet and sickly.

When used in the shower, this oil turns into a bubbly, milky formula which leaves your skin really hydrated and feeling amazing. After using this shower oil I don't feel like I need to moisturise too, which is always great as I find moisturising my body quite boring and time consuming.

I would honestly recommend this to anyone, and think it would make a lovely gift. It is quite pricey at £17 a pop but worth every penny in my opinion. If you're looking for something a bit more luxurious to brighten up your mornings (or evenings depending on when you shower) I'd seriously consider this shower oil.

Lots of Love,

  1. This one of my favourites. I always try to put something from L'Occitane on my Christmas list as it is a little expensive. strand on beauty.com

  2. This is a holy grail product for me and there's nothing better to use shaving legs. I actually did a post on the large refill pouch you can buy for this which saves a few pounds when replacing.

  5. This sounds like a very lovely, luxurious product. I didn't know that L'Occitane had a bath range so I'm very intrigued!
