Kiehls Creme De Corps Soy Milk & Honey Body Polish | Review

Wednesday, 1 October 2014

Hello Beauties! I hope you're all well! I know I say this every month but I really can't believe it's October already, soon it will be Halloween and Fireworks Night then it's pretty much Christmas. It's safe to say that this year really is flying by. I've just started my fourth and final year at Bournemouth Univeristy, and I'm actually terrified. After completing my placement I never really wanted to go back to Uni because I know I prefer working but I can't let myself throw away 3 years of work over my fear of writing a dissertation. I know I'll be very busy this year with University, so if my posts are a little sparse I'm sorry, I am going to try and write them in bulk and am trying to get ahead with my posts, but sometimes life just gets in the way!

Anyway, I was recently given this Kiehls Creme De Corps Soy Milk & Honey Body Polish by my Mum to test out, and I thought I'd let you all know what I thought of it. Firstly, I'll start with the smell. I could hardly review this without mentioning it, because it smells amazing. It's sweet and almond scented and smells slightly tropical. For some reason it reminds me of the smell of Malibu, but not quite as strong. If you love sweet, tropical scents then this will be right up your street.

The Kiehls Soy Milk & Honey Body Polish contains shea, Jojoba Butters and Sweet Almond Oil to give the scrub a really rich and creamy formula which feels ultra luxurious. Along with Pure Honey and Soy Milk Protein to really nourish the skin and ground Luffa Fruit to gently exfoliate, leaving your skin smooth and polished, without drying it out.

I have quite sensitive skin which can get quite dry, especially on my legs, so it's important for me to get the balance right between a great exfoliator and something that won't dry my skin out (Soap & Glory's The Breakfast Scrub is a favourite of mine) and this offering from Kiehls is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm terrible at remembering to exfoliate and look after the skin on my body as most of the time I don't see a noticeable difference, but after using this my skin looked visibly smoother and my skin tone was evened out. All of my dry patches had disappeared and my skin felt so smooth and soft, and as the formula is so rich and creamy, I didn't need to use a lot to get the desired results so I know this bottle will last me a lot longer than my usual Soap and Glory scrubs.

I'd really recommend this to anyone who likes to look after their skin and body, as you can really see a noticeable difference from the first use. I no longer have dry, tight and itchy skin and I found that my fake tan applied so much better after using this. This costs £22.50 from most large retailers, so it is a little pricey, however I know this will last me a lot longer than the S&G ones I usually buy (which I go through at lightening speed) and they are £10 each, so if you compare, it's not really all that least thats what I'm telling myself as I know I will definitely be repurchasing this!

Lots of Love,
