Simon & Tom Moroccan Hair Treatment | Review

Friday, 19 December 2014

Hello Beauties! For years now I've been a huge fan of hair oil treatments, with Moroccan Oil being my usual go-to, however I was recently contacted by Simon & Tom asking if I would like to try out their premium moroccan argan oil hair treatment. I love trying out new brands of hair oil, as I'm always on the hunt for the next best thing, and I may have found it in the Simon & Tom Moroccan Treatment.

The Simon & Tom Moroccan Treatment is a 100% natural treatment using the highest grade moroccan argan oil to ensure its nourishing qualities. The treatment is designed to treat frizzy, unruly hair leaving you hair soft, smooth and shiny. The package comes with a bottle and a separate pump much like the original Moroccan Oil and the treatment is an amber colour thick oil, pretty much identical to Moroccan Oil, and it also smells identical. These were all good signs that I'd found something comparable to my favourite, but slightly more expensive Moroccan Oil, but did it work as well?

I'm pleased to say that I found the Simon & Tom Moroccan Treatment to work just as well as the original Moroccan Oil, in fact they are pretty much identical. Apart from the branding, I can't see one difference between the two. The Moroccan Treatment left my hair soft and frizz free without any greasy residue, and it also helped to restore some of the moisture lost from my hair through extensive heat use.

I'd really recommend this to anyone, no matter what your hair type. However, this is a little expensive, much like all premium argan oil treatments. The Simon & Tom Premium Moroccan Treatment is available from Amazon for £29.90, making it a tiny bit cheaper than Moroccan Oil, but only just. If you can't get your hands on the original Moroccan Oil for any reason, I highly recommend that you pick this one up instead - your hair will thank you!

Lots of Love,

  1. This sounds amazing and a tad cheaper than Moroccan Oil! x

    1. It's made my hair so soft - I'd definitely recommend :) x

  2. Ooh, does this have silicones in? I've stopped using Moroccan Oil as I no longer use silicones in my products and this sounds like a good alternative!

    1. Unfortunately this does contain two types of silicones, however they are naturally derived (not sure if that makes it any better?) xx

  3. Ooh, I'll definitely try this. I liked the Moroccanoil well enough but it didn't do enough for me to justify the price - this seems a better alternative! xx
