February Beauty Wishlist

Tuesday, 24 February 2015

Hello Beauties! This year I've made it one of my resolutions to stop spending ridiculous amounts of money on make up which I don't need and won't use enough. Don't worry, I'll still be buying make up - this won't be the end of Lipgloss & Lashes or my shopping habit - but I want to limit myself to buying one or two things each month that I've really thought about and done the appropriate research into, and stop spending money on lots of little bits or on impulse buys. That being said, there's still a million things on my wish list so I've put a little one together so that I can live vicariously through my blog, instead of wasting my limited pennies on make up just because the packaging is pretty.

1. MAC Matchmaster Foundation

If I buy one thing this month, this foundation will probably be it. I'm not really satisfied with any of my foundations at the moment, and they all seem to be running pretty low so after doing a bit of research into what I'm after, this foundation seems to fit the bill. It claims to match your skin tone perfectly, blur imperfections and give a soft matte finish which lasts all day - pretty big claims but 'm hoping it will live up to them!

2. Clinique Moisture Surge

Back in the day this used to be my all time favourite moisturiser, however because of it's high price tag and my limited funds, I had to stop repurchasing it. I'm hoping that maybe next month I will be able to pick another tub of this up as it is such a brilliant moisturiser. The gel formula is really cooling and it really hydrates your skin. I also find that this product doesn't clog my pores or cause breakouts, and it doesn't make my skin any oilier than it already is.

3. Benefit Porefessional Agent Zero Shine Powder

I've been wanting to get my hands on this ever since it came out, but something has been stopping me, although I'm not too sure what. Having oily skin has turned me into a bit of a powder junkie, and as this one promises zero shine along with the ability to blur imperfections and conceal pores, it seems perfect for me.

4. Too Faced Melted Lipsticks

Although I've included a picture of the entire collection, I only really want one of these to start off with (as I'm not sure how much I'll like them) but I'm undecided on the colour. I love the look of these and the little applicators they have. They seem super pigmented, hydrating and easy to apply which are all things I look for when it comes to lip products. Unfortunately, I don't live near anywhere which stocks Too Faced so I would have to order online, this has been putting me off slightly as I always like to have a good swatch of a lipstick before buying.

5. Too Faced Blushing Heart in Peach Beach

Yet another Too Faced product, can you see a pattern emerging? Too Faced is my new favourite brand at the moment and has been since I bought my first Too Faced product last Summer. I pretty much want everything they've ever made. I really like the look of their blushing hears and this peachy nude one would be great for subtle make up looks and everyday make up, it also adds a little luminosity so its perfect for perking up dull winter skin.

6. NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme

I'm not usually one for matte lips, however I really like the look of these lip cremes from NYX. Again, nyx isn't sold anywhere near me which makes it difficult as I don't really like going off other peoples swatches without seeing the product first.

7. Urban Decay Single Eyeshadow in Sidecar

Sidecar is probably my favourite eyeshadow ever. It's one of the eyeshadows included in the original Naked palette, but I loved it a little too much and now it's pretty much all gone. I love wearing this on an everyday basis which is why I went through it so quickly, and its definitely one I will need to repurchase at some point.

8. Lush Cosmetic Catastrophe Face Mask

I've been eyeing this mask up for a while now as it claims to sort out problem skin while also soothing and calming the skin. At the moment, my skin is going through a bit of a rough patch so I could definitely do with a little tub of this so called miracle product!

9. Lush 'Big' Shampoo

I recently got all of my hair chopped off. Well, not all of it - that was a little dramatic, but it's definitely a lot shorter than I've ever had it before and with this new shorter do has come an inclination to add volume to my hair at every stage of my haircare routine. I've heard so many great things about this shampoo and I'd love to try it out.

10. Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

Too Faced and neutral eyeshadows? It's like a match made in heaven. I really like the Too Faced palettes like this one where they have three looks, as it makes it so simple when you're in a rush (everyday for me) and the colours in this one are so pretty! After buying the Too Faced Chocolate Bar last month, I now have a new found love for Too Faced eyeshadows so I definitely want to add some more to my collection.

11. Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb Perfume

This one has been on my wish list for quite some time now, along with Bon Bon, their other perfume. This perfume is sweet and floral which is just what I like. If it wasn't for the price tag and the fact that I've got so much perfume its coming out my ears, I'd definitely buy this one.

Lots of Love,

Becky x x
