New In | Make Up Revolution Blushing Hearts

Wednesday, 18 February 2015

Hello Beauties! The 'Blushing Hearts' collection from Make Up Revolution has been on my wish list since it came out last year, so imagine my excitement when these three new shades turned up at my door on Valentines Day? The Blushing Hearts collection has recently been extended to include three new shades, all of which are as beautiful as the original shades. I wasn't too sure about these blushers before, as they are clearly a dupe of the Too Faced Sweetheart Blushers, and how good can a dupe really be? However, I am seriously impressed with these blushers/highlighters/bronzers, each of them is extremely pigmented and the powders are so soft and buttery. You get way more than what you pay for with these products and I'd highly recommend picking at least one up, for the packaging if nothing else!

Firstly Make Up Revolution has released 'Golden Goddess' which is another one of their 'Goddess of Love' Highlighters. Golden Goddess is a beautiful golden champagne colour which looks amazing dusted across your cheek bones, and I can see this becoming my go-to highlighter when the days start getting a bit warmer and Summer starts to show its shy face. The closest thing I could liken this highlighter to would be the Sunbeam Highlighter from Topshop, which I can never seem to get my hands on. It really is a beautiful product, and at £4.99 you really can't go wrong.

Make Up Revolution has also extended their line of 'Summer of Love' Baked Bronzers to include 'Hot Summer of Love' which consists of three bronze shades - a deep shimmery bronze, a light shimmery bronze shade and a light golden shade which has a sort of duo chrome finish to it when swatched (unfortunately this didn't show up on camera). When blended together, they make up a gorgeous bronze colour which I think will be perfect for the Summer when that dewy bronze look returns full force.

Lastly, Make Up Revolution has also added 'Peachy Pink Kisses' to their Blushing Hearts range. Pink and Peach blushers are my favourite to wear, and I can never go without blusher, so this combination of the three was literally made for me. The blusher consists of a peach shimmery shade, a light pink shimmer shade, and a pink toned highlighting shade which create a gorgeous light peach shade when blended together and really add some extra dimension and life to the cheeks.

Lots of Love,

Becky x x

  18. Would you say that golden goddess is a close dupe of The Balm, Mary Lou-manizer? I'm looking for a budget dupe for it...
