What's In My Bag? | Nude Celine Dupe

Thursday, 26 February 2015

Hello Beauties!  I haven't done a 'Whats in my Bag?' post for a while now, and since I've changed my handbag since my last post I thought it was about time I did a little update. I am still using my Michael Kors Bedford Bag and love it to pieces, however it is slightly too small to fit everything I need for Uni inside, so I like to keep that one as my 'weekend bag' so that I don't overfill it with Uni bits and damage it.

Back in October when I started this year at Uni, I was on the hunt for a large structured bag that I could fit all of my junk  important items inside and I came across this nude bag on eBay which is a blatant copy of the famous Celine bags. I know this is a little controversial as it is an imitation and theres the whole argument that copy bags take money away from the designer, however I think its safe to say that Celine was never going to see any of my money as I just cannot afford one of their bags, and as this one doesn't say Celine on it anywhere it doesn't make me feel so bad. Anyway, on to what I cart around with me on a daily basis...

I like to keep my bag pretty clean and regularly clear it out as I'm so bad for just stuffing receipts and bits of paper in the bottom, however doing this post made me realise just how much I carry around with me! Firstly, I have this little pink cupcake notebook and pens, I use this for jotting down anything I need to while I'm out and about and also if I forget to take my usual pad of paper to Uni. I also have my glasses which are just some plain black Replay ones which I got from Specsavers. I need glasses to read and if I'm looking at the screen too long, and these were just left in my bag after a day at Uni. I also have this little floral bobble from Primark which has a sort of 'bow' design to it, I just have this in there as I always want to tie my hair up when I know I've finished for the day and I'm on my way home. I also have some L'Occitane Hand Cream as I've been suffering with dry hands recently due to the cold, and a little sample of 'Coolfix' which I got in a Birchbox a while back. This may seem like an odd thing to keep in your handbag but I always like to pop a little bit on after I've had my eyebrows waxed to stop the redness and any little bumps which might appear, this stuff works wonders for that!

I also have a little Cath Kidston makeup bag which I carry my touch up essentials in (Nars Turkish Delight Lipgloss, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, Benefit Sugarbomb Lipgloss, Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Sample and Clinique Powder). I also have an almost empty packet of Soothers as I've been suffering with a sore throat recently, paracetamol as I'm always getting headaches and a large plaster as I'm the clumsiest person I know so I never know when I'm going to fall over and cut myself haha. And obviously, my car and home keys.

Inside my bag I also have some cream Primark gloves, which were clearly a bad idea as you can see all the makeup I've got on them, god knows why I chose cream! I've also got a pink make up brush which I use to apply my powder on the go as I hate using the sponges they come with, an EOS lip balm, some hair clips and a memory stick which contains back ups of all of my Uni work as I'm paranoid about losing it!

Last but not least, I have my purse which is this baby pink wallet from Kate Spade. This was a Christmas present this year and I absolutely love it, it's big enough to fit all of my cards, receipts and change while still being quite slim. I also usually carry my phone in my bag which I forgot to photograph, but it's a white iPhone 5S.

Lots of Love,

Becky x x

  3. I have this bag in blue and it's lasted me so well, it's starting to get a bit battered now actually so I'm tempted to get a lighter colour like yours.
