Nars Angelika Blusher Review

Monday, 6 April 2015

Hello Beauties! I hope you've all had a lovely Easter break and are suitably full of all the Easter chocolate - I know I am! I wish I would say I was well rested after the 4 day weekend, but alas, the life of a final year University student never stops. It seems like this dissertation has been hanging over me for months, and now that the end is in sight panic has really started to set in. Anyway, today I thought I would review a rather lovely product which I've had sitting in my collection for quite some time now, the Nars Angelika Blusher. I'm not really sure why I never reviewed this when I first got it, but I guess back in December I had quite a lot going on with exams and the like, so this product just made its way into my makeup collection unnoticed.

Nars is fast becoming one of my favourite, if not my favourite, high end beauty brands. They really seem to hit the nail on the head with their products and their blushers are no different. The latest addition to my Nars collection is their blusher in 'Angelika'. Being a bit of a Nars obsessive, I was already aware of the amazing quality of their products, and 'Angelika' is no different. This blusher has some serious pigmentation and staying power, meaning that although its small, it'll last you ages, even with daily wear.

Angelika is a beautiful mid toned pink shade with a gorgeous shimmer running through it, described by Nars as a 'cotton candy pink with gold and silver sparkle'. The blush adds a gorgeous glow to the skin, perfect if you love that dewy look. It is quite a bright pink shade, but as long as you make sure to tap your brush off before applying it I don't find this a problem and I've been getting plenty of wear from the blush on an everyday basis.

At £23.00, Nars blushers aren't the cheapest of treats, but they're definitely worth it in my opinion! I currently have four more on my wish list - Love, Final Cut, New Attitude and Sex Fantasy - as I can never resist a bit of Nars!

What are your favourite brands for blushers?

Lots of Love,

Becky x x
