Limited Edition Tatler For Birchbox

Saturday, 4 April 2015

Hello Beauties! I hope you're all well and all prepared for tomorrows chocolate feast! This morning this gorgeous box from Birchbox dropped through my letterbox (literally dropped, I think the postman was in a bit of a mood for having to work Easter weekend!) and I couldn't wait to share it with you all. The 'Tatler For Birchbox' Best of British Box is a limited edition box by Birchbox, which you can pick up for £25 from their website. The box is beautifully decorated (I'll definitely be keeping this one for makeup storage!) and also came with a little map showing where the different brands featured in this months box are based, which I thought was a cute little touch to go with the theme.

The box is jam packed with some seriously good British goodies and I have to say, I was really impressed with this box. The product I was most excited about receiving was the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. I've been wanting to try this product out for months now after hearing everyone rave on and on about it. I haven't actually tried it yet so I'm excited to give it a go tonight!

Another product I was happy to receive this month was a full size Ciaté Paint Pot in a lovely mauve-nude colour. I like that it's a really wearable colour, as often with these subscription box services you get colours that you'd never really wear, and I'm also happy that the box contained at least 1 full size item, as it's always a bit disappointing to receive a box full of small sample sizes.

The box also contained a couple of body products in the form of the Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Body Cream and Bamford Geranium Body Wash. These two product don't really interest me too much, as I already have an overwhelming stash of body care samples, and the scents really aren't ones that I would choose, however these will be handy if I'm ever travelling or staying overnight somewhere and don't want to lug around my full size items!

The Tatler box also contained a deluxe sample size of the Dr Jacksons Natural Products Face Oil 03. This isn't a brand I've ever heard of however after having a little read of the leaflet that came with this product, I can see that it's packed full of natural antioxidants and oils, which claim to smooth and improve skin tone, so I'm interested to see how well this works as so far, I haven't really been wowed by any of the face oils I've tried!

Lastly, the box also came with a full size 'Big, Bold and Beautiful Dry Instant Volumising Spray' from Percy and Reid, which I stupidly forgot to photograph. I was really happy to receive this, as I often use volumising products on my hair when it's wet but I don't currently own anything that I can use throughout the day to boost my hair when it's fallen flat, and again, it was nice to receive a full size product.

You can now order this Limited Edition box from the Birchbox e-shop here for £25.

What did you think of this limited edition box?

Lots of Love,

Becky x x

    1. This was sent to me as a PR sample as I usually receive them monthly, but I've just realised that this is the box you have to pay £25 for - sorry! This months theme is Royal Baby and you get to pick a Laura Mercier sample :) I'll update the post now to avoid anymore confusion! xx

  4. It's a beautiful box isn't it. I was delighted to see Cleanse & Polish in there as my first bottle has just recently run out and I'm a big fan of Ciate Paint pots. I've not come across the facial oil before but that also sounds lovely and I can't wait to give it a try x
