Introducing CK2 - Exclusive to World Duty Free

Monday, 28 December 2015

Hello Beauties! I hope you're well and had a fantastic Christmas! If you'd like to see what Santa treated me to this year then keep a look out as that post will be up later this week! In the meantime, I wanted to share with you all CK2, the latest addition to the Calvin Klein fragrance line up which is exclusively available at World Duty Free.

Whilst all fragrances can be worn by both women and men (I sometimes wear mens if I prefer the scent!), Calvin Klein was the first brand to break the gender boundaries and market a fragrance as gender neutral with CK1, and CK2 is no different. CK2 is said to celebrate the diversity of connections between two people as one gender-free fragrance unties and creates an experience that can be shared together.

Minimalism and simplicity embody what the Calvin Klein brand is all about, and CK2 is no different. With it's slick and fancy-free packaging along with it's fresh vibe, CK2 is classic Calvin Klein - simple and modern with an urban twist. The fragrance has top notes of wasabi, mandarin and violet leaf absolute which initially give the scent a peppery feel, however once left for an hour or two the heart notes of wet cobblestones and rose absolute, along with it's more masculine woody base notes start to shine through and the fragrance really comes into its own.

At first sniff the fragrance is pleasant but nothing special in my opinion, however after leaving it on my skin for a little while I really started to love the scent. The scent definitely leans more on the masculine side in my opinion but it's fresh enough to be completely gender neutral and I have to say, I love it. After initially passing it off as boring, it's now become one of my favourite fragrances and something I reach for on a daily basis, and I've had a lot of compliments on it over the last week or two.

CK2 is currently exclusive to World Duty Free until Feb 2016, so if you're lucky enough to be jetting off anywhere exiting this month definitely pick one up on your way!

Lots of Love,

Becky xo

Christmas in Dorset

Saturday, 26 December 2015

Hello Beauties! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and I can't wait to hear about how you all spent the day and what santa left for you under the tree!  This year I headed back home to Dorset for Christmas, as apart from a few days here and there, I haven't been home for a significant amount of time in around six months since relocating to London back in the summer.

I spent the day with my parents, my brother and our two cats and puppy, and while I didn't quite get the white christmas I was hoping for, it was lovely to relax by the fire and spend some quality time together. This christmas was also the first time I met Reggie, our little jack russell puppy. We've never had a dog before so it's all a big learning curve (and a bit like having a baby in the house!) but it was wonderful to spend some time with him whilst he's still a puppy.

I won't be doing a 'What I got for Christmas' post this year as it seems to foster a little negativity, but some of my main presents included a Samsonite suitcase set (as my current suitcase has no wheels - not great!) which I can use when I travel to Las Vegas this spring, a furry rug which I've wanted for ages, a couple of Kate Spade books which I'm sure you'll be seeing in a few blog photo backgrounds and a few other little bits and bobs.

I hope you all had a lovely day and may the festivities continue on! As Mark Twain once said "too much of anything is bad, but too much champagne is just right".

Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas!

Thursday, 24 December 2015

Hello Beauties and Happy Christmas Eve! As you're reading this I'll probably be at home stuffing my face with celebrations and playing with my new puppy, but I just wanted to take five minutes to wish you all the merriest of Christmases and thank you all for your continued support throughout 2015. It's been a tough ride with lots of ups and downs, so thank you all so much for being there for me and continuing to help me grow my little corner of the internet. I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas with your loved ones and Santa brings you everything you wished for - you know you deserve it!

Merry Christmas & I'll see you in the New Year!

Christmas Wishes,

15 Festive Questions Tag

Wednesday, 23 December 2015

Hello Beauties, I hope you're all well and looking forward to the big day! Now that Christmas Day is only two days away (eek!) I thought I'd take part in a festive post created by Becky from Milk Bubble Tea.

1.Favourite Christmas smell / scent ?
I'm not really a Christmas smell kind of person, a lot of festive candles are 'Christmas Spice' or cinnamon scented and I hate both of those scents, so I'd have to say either the sweeter smells around at this time of year, or the smell of the roast potatoes cooking!
2. Gingerbread or Candy canes?
100% Candy canes, I hate gingerbread and always have (no matter how cute it looks!) so this one was a pretty obvious one for me!
3. Is your tree real or fake?
Our tree is fake, we have two cats and a puppy so we've always had a fake one just so they don't treat on any of the pine needles. A fake tree also means that you can have it up for longer as it's not going to die! When I own my own flat I definitely want one of the snow dusted fake trees though - maybe in a couple of years time, who knows!
4. Quality street or Roses?
It has to be Quality Street, those toffee pennies are to die for - they've always been my favourite!
5. Do you dress up or down on December 25th?
I like to dress up a little on Christmas Day, nothing too fancy as it's normally just me and my family but I do like to feel like I've made an effort - I normally wear something I've just unwrapped.
6. Do you have any specific festive traditions?
When me and my brother were younger we had tonnes of festive traditions, but as I've gotten older and moved around a lot some of those have faded away, but to this day, we still all have to eat one sprout each year before we leave the table!
7. Any embarrassing Christmas moments that come to mind?
I can't think of too many, but there's bound to be some stupid things I've said after one too many Baileys!

8. Do you wake up early or late on Christmas morning?
Even now I still wake up early on Christmas Day and wait in my room until a sensible time, I think last year I woke up at 5.30am! This year I'm hoping that the puppy will wake everyone up early though so I can use him as an excuse to be up that early!
9. If you had a stocking where did you hang them?
We don't have stockings anymore, but when I was younger they would always be hung on our doors. Then when we woke up at 5am we'd have something to play with until my parents woke up.
10. Favourite festive film/s?
I love all of the cheesy festive films they play on channels like Christmas 24 and Sky Christmas. Me and my Mum sit and watch them every year, she even text me this year to let me know she was watching one! Other than that, I love The Holiday and Love Actually.
11. Was there a present you always asked for as a child but never received?
I can't think of anything I asked for each year as a child...probably a new kitten or a puppy! Needless to say, my list was extensive as a child!
12. What was the best gift you received  as a child?
I received a lot of lovely gifts as a child, but I think my favourite was my first mobile phone when I was 13. I'd been asking for one for a while as everyone at school had one, so I was so excited to finally have my own - it was a little flip top Samsung!
13. What is on top of your Christmas tree?
We have an angel on top of our Christmas tree, and it's still the same one I had as a child. It's looking a little wonky now so we all joke that they angel has had one too many!
14. Favourite festive food?
My favourite festive food has got to be roast potatoes in gravy. I know they aren't technically festive as we have them all year, but they're definitely my favourite - that and pigs in blankets!
15. Favourite Christmas activity?
My favourite Christmas activity is Christmas shopping, no matter how stressful it is. I love shopping and selecting gifts for others way more than I do receiving them and I love to wrap them up all nicely and put them under the tree!

Lots of Love,
Becky xo

An Introduction to Burberry Fragrance with World Duty Free

Tuesday, 22 December 2015

Hello Beauties! Along with Kate Spade and Dior, Burberry is one of my favourite designers. I love how elegant and timeless their pieces are, making them worth every penny in my opinion. So imagine how thrilled I was to receive this adorable Burberry fragrance travel set as an early Christmas present this year!

The set comes packaged in Burberry's signature packaging, which instantly drew me to the set. I adore the Burberry packaging as it's understated and sophisticated which makes it seem all the more luxurious. I'm such a hoarder of pretty packaging, so I'll definitely be keeping this box to use as storage/decoration in my bedroom. Inside the box, the set contains five of Burberry's most popular fragrances, making this set a great introduction into the brands fragrance library.

First up in the line up is the original scent from the brand. Described as a fruity fragrance with top notes of blackcurrant and green apple. Combined with heart notes of cedar wood, jasmine, moss and sandalwood, the fragrance has a rich and sensual tone. This one is probably my least favourite as it's a little mature for me personally, but if you like deep and warm scents then you'll definitely love this one!

Second up is Burberry Brit Rhythm, one of the brand's takes on the original Burberry Brit fragrance. Brit Rhythm is described as a sensual, floral fragrance with a fruity twist, and is my favourite of the five. The fragrance has fresh top notes of orchard fruit, sicilian lemon and orange, which open up to an intoxicating heard of Egyptian jasmine, lotus blossom and lilac, making this a gorgeously fun and young fragrance. The cute pink bottle doesn't hurt either!

In the middle of the set you have Burberry Body, which I think has the most unique packaging with its copper bullet shaped bottle. Burberry Body is described as a sensual, feminine fragrance with an eclectic combination of refined ingredients. With top notes of fresh green absinthe, illuminating peach and delicate freesia, aling with floral heart notes and base notes of creamy vanilla, amber and musk, this is one of my favourite fragrances from the set.

The set also contains Burberry Brit Sheer, another take of the infamous Burberry Brit fragrance. Brit Sheer is the more youthful of the two included in the set, and definitely the more delicate of the two. The fragrance has a refreshing scent to it with top notes of lychee, yuzu, pineapple leaves and mandarin, heart notes of peony and peach blossom which add a soft, floral scent and a sheer veil of white milk and blond wood to gently balance the fragrance.

Lastly, the set also includes Burberry London, one of Burberrys more classic fragrances with its house check printed bottle. This floral-fresh scent has gentle top notes of rose and honeysuckle, deep heart notes of tiare flower and jasmine with a hint of fresh clementine zest, along with base notes of sandalwood and must to add a subtle warmth to the fragrance.

After researching all of the different notes included within each of the Burberry fragrances within the set, it's no wonder I'm such a fan. I love any fresh and floral fragrances (Jo Malone Wild Bluebell is my all time favourite) and I'll definitely be keeping a few of these in my handbag and travel wash bags for spritzing on the go! The set is a travel exclusive and something only available from World Duty Free, so if you're lucky enough to be jetting off anywhere exotic in the upcoming months, make sure you take a look on your pre-flight shopping spree.

Lots of Love,

Becky xo

Love Me Beauty Box // December 2015

Monday, 21 December 2015

Hello Beauties! Being the beauty lover that I am, I love to test out new products - and what better way to try out new brands and product lines than to get a selection delivered to your door every month? I now await the delivery of my monthly beauty box subscriptions with gleeful anticipation, and this month Love Me Beauty did not let me down. The box contained a selection of body care, makeup and haircare this month which is exactly what I like to see.

The first (and largest) item I noticed was the Percy and Reed Dry Instant Volumising Spray. This is a product I actually already own and am running out of, so I was lucky to receive it in this months box. I like to use this when I've curled my hair to give it a bit of a boost and fluff it up to create a more 'messy' look. This also retails for around £14, so you've already made your money back on the box from just one product!

This month's box also included Dr Lipp's Nipple Balm for Lips, a quirky product designed to give your lips that much needed moisture boost - perfect for the cold December weather! On a recent trip to Munich my lips really suffered from the bitterly cold winds, so this was a real treat to discover when I returned home. I find it to be the perfect 'night time' lip balm, as I pop it on before bed and wake up to perfectly smooth lips.

On the subject of soothing products for your skin, this month's Love Me Beauty box also included a sample of the Nuxe Reve du Miel Hand & Nail Cream. I love the Nuxe Reve du Miel range (their lip balm is one of my favourites) so I was happy to be able to try some of the other products in the range. During the winter my hands really suffer with the cold so I've been using this recently to keep them well moisturised and nourished.

This month's box also included the Himilayan Detox Salts by Roques Oneil. This isn't a brand I've heard of before, but I'm all for trying new brands so I was happy to receive this in Decembers box. I'm not really one for bath salts, but like I said, I'm looking forward to trying these.

December's box also included a few little makeup bits which I'm always so excited to try. This month I received the Cailyn Cosmetics Mineral Eye Polish in a gorgeous duo-chrome golden peach colour. I think one of the most subtle yet striking colours to add to your eyes is gold, so I was extremely happy to add this unique golden shade to my collection. The metallic finish is just perfect for the festive season, and definitely a welcome addition to my collection at this time of year.

I also received the Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish in Old Burlington Street, a beautiful creamy navy colour. Navy isn't a shade I wear on my nails often, but the high shine and wintery hue of Old Burlington Street is perfect for the winter and is something I've found myself reaching for more than I initially thought. I also love all of the cute London themed names!

Lastly, this month I received one of the new Love Me Beauty necklaces. Normally when I receive a beauty box with an own branded item, it's often a keyring or something I'm not so interested in, so I was pleasantly surprised with this necklace. Whilst green isn't really my colour, I love how shimmer and dainty the necklace is - as is the whole collection.

Overall, I'm really pleased with this month's selection of products, and definitely think it was worth the £10 you pay for the box. What do you think?

Lots of Love,

Becky xo

Last Minute Christmas Shopping with The Perfume Shop

Sunday, 20 December 2015

Hello Beauties! I hope you're all well and have had a great weekend. I'm officially finished for Christmas now so I've come home to Bournemouth to get ready for Christmas and meet our new puppy, Reggie! Reggie is a little baby Jack Russel and he's so adorable, even if I do say so myself! Anyway, if you're not quite done with Christmas shopping then I imagine the panic is really setting in, so today I thought I'd share with you a last minute gift idea, available at The Perfume Shop.

Although I love bundling up for the cold weather that Christmas brings, I've always been more of a summer girl - something which is definitely reflected through my perfume choices.  I like my scents to remind me of lounging around by the pool, sipping on a cocktail or two, and Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue is the perfect fragrance to do just that.

This fresh, fruity and floral scent captures the very essence of summer with its refined design that eludes to a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe. The fragrance is light and airy as the name would suggest, with a slight hint of citrus. With notes of Sicilian Citron, Bluebell and Granny Smith Apple, combined with Jasmine, Amber and Cedarwood - Light Blue is the perfect feminine everyday scent.

The Perfume Shop have a whole host of fragrance gift sets available this Christmas so there's sure to be something to suit all of your friends and family members this Christmas, but if you're looking for a little inspiration, look no further than Light Blue. With 99p next day delivery for today only, you can shop bestselling gift sets here

Contouring on a Budget

Friday, 18 December 2015

Hello Beauties, I hope you're all well and looking forward to Christmas! You may have noticed that I've been a little absent on here over the past week or two, as I was in Munich for a long weekend and then following that things have been pretty hectic at work and at home in the run up to Christmas, meaning my blog has had to take a back seat unfortunately. But I'm back today with an exciting drugstore discovery!

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a bit of a makeup snob (not that there's anything wrong with that), and I'm often a bit wary of high street 'dupes' of high end products as I never really find them to be as good as the original, however recently the high street has really upped it's game and has been coming out with some brilliant products to rival some higher end products. One high street product I've been putting to the test (and loving) recently is the Maybelline Master Sculpt Contour Duo.

As you can see by the pictures, the palette comes with two shades - a larger matte bronzer and a smaller slightly shimmery highlight shade, so everything you need for a basic contour. I know there's hundreds of videos on YouTube showing you how to contour with about 10 different shades and different techniques, but on an everyday basis I find that a simple contour and highlight shade will do, making this palette perfect for everyday use. I like how the two clearly marked shades make everything simple, even for makeup beginners, and I think it's great that the bronzer shade is bigger, as that's the product I tend to run out of quicker.

As well as the design of the product, the formula has also really impressed me. I've never been a big fan of Maybelline as often their products don't sit right on my skin, but these powders are smooth, buttery and blend out effortlessly (something I always look for in contour products - nobody wants a stripey face!). As you can see by the swatches, the shades are also really pigmented too meaning that you only need a tiny bit of product to complete your look.

The Master Sculpt duo is also available in two different shades - Light/Medium and Medium/Dark - so if you're a pale girl like myself, there's a shade option for you. I find that Light/Medium is just the perfect amount of colour for me as I look contoured but not muddy or orange, any darker and I'd definitely be venturing into wotsit territory! The highlighter in the Light/Medium duo is also really pretty. It's more of a yellow based highlighter and doesn't packs just the right amount of shimmer to give your skin a healthy glow without making you look shiny or sparkly.

At £6.99 I think these palettes are a worthy addition to any makeup bag, particularly for those who are just getting into contouring and want to experiment a bit before forking out your months rent on a fancy contour palette.

Lots of Love,

Becky xo

Nars Multiple in 'Undress Me' Review

Friday, 11 December 2015

Hello Beauties! One brand which I love but definitely don't own enough of is Nars. I've fallen in love with everything I've tried from the brand in the past, but they are a little on the pricey side, so I tend to go away and think about the products for a while before taking the plunge, however on a recent trip to TK Maxx to pick up a couple of novelty Christmas gifts, I found that they were stocking a lot of Nars products, all at incredible prices. Amongst other items, I decided to pick up the Multiple in 'Undress Me' as I'd never tried any of the Nars Multiples and it was a complete bargain at £12.99!

Firstly, let's talk about the design and packaging of the product (always my favourite part). The Nars Multiples come in their regular, and ultra classy, black matte rubber packaging with a twist-up function which allows you to get the product out without sharpening. I do love Nars packaging, but it gets so dirty so quickly - you can probably already see a little dirt on the packaging already and I hadn't even used the product when I took that photo! This is something I can overlook though, as the products are so stunning.

The Nars Multiple is described as François Nars iconic innovation, the original multi-purpose stick for eyes, cheeks, lips and body. Its unique creamy formula and sheer colour blends effortlessly to create shimmering accents; contours or dynamic highlights on all skin tones. As a bit of a lazy girl who is always in a rush in the mornings, I'm all for multi purpose products so this seemed right up my street.

'Undress Me' is a beautiful dusky ballerina pink with silver shimmers and sparkles to create a lovely natural blush/highlight combination. Light pinks are my colour of choice for my cheeks, and while I'm not normally a cream blush person, I really love this product. I found that the colour didn't immediately stain my cheeks so allowed me time to properly blend, and it blended out to a really natural finish - something I don't often find with cream products. However, whilst I do love shimmer in my beauty products, I did find the sparkles in this multiple a little on the chunky side sometimes. It looks perfect paired with matte makeup, or over a light pink matte blusher, but if you've gone all out sparkle on your eyes I'd definitely avoid using this as part of your makeup look. I find that this works best for me on natural makeup days when I haven't really done much else with my makeup, as it creates a really pretty, soft look.

Overall, I really do love this product, but it's not something I'd find myself reaching for on a daily basis due to the shimmer nature of the shade, but still a lovely product. In the spirit of honesty though, I'm not sure I'd love this product as much if I'd spend the whole £29 on it, as when I spend that much money I like the product to be something I can wear on an everyday basis, so definitely take a trip to your local TK Maxx - there are some real gems hidden in the shelves!

Lots of Love,

Becky xo

How I Stay Organised - Blogging & Full Time Work

Wednesday, 9 December 2015

Blogging is hard work, there's no doubt about it, but it's especially difficult to stay on top of everything when it's not your full time job. Most people don't realise just how much effort and time goes into maintaining a blog - it involves everything from content creation, photography, editing, updating all of your social media channels, and keeping on top of PR emails, and I'm sure I've missed a few things off that list. That being said, it is completely do-able. As I've been running my blog alongside full time work or study for a couple of years now, and for the most part I've kept posting regularly, I thought I would share my tips on how to stay organised. Obviously everyone has their own ways of doing things (and who am I to tell you what to do!) but hopefully some of you will find some of this post useful if you're struggling to keep on top of everything!

1. Plan in advance

I'm sure it will come as no surprise to some of my long time readers, but pretty much everything I post on Lipgloss & Lashes is pre-planned. I'm not really a spontaneous person, and I like to go through things in detail before posting (and ensure that I've got all of my thoughts and feelings in order), and a big part of keeping myself organised is taking time to think about what sort of content I want to produce and when I can fit this into my busy schedule. I like to save all of my post titles into my draft posts, and then go on to take my photos and write the actual post - this way I can plan exactly what I need to include photo-wise and don't waste any time taking unnecessary photos.

2. Take photos in bulk

I'm quite strict on the quality of photos I upload to Lipgloss & Lashes, so it takes me forever to achieve the perfect photo. If I didn't take these in bulk when I'd sorted out the perfect set up, it would completely take over my life. I like to dedicate one morning a weekend to taking blog photos, and this works really well for me if I've pre-planned which posts I want to write that week. That way, I can get them all taken and edited in one go and I don't have to worry about the weather being gloomy for the rest of the week and stopping me from taking my photos!

3. Schedule (even if it's just saving your tweets as drafts!)

There seems to be some misplaced hate of scheduling posts in the blogging world, with many claiming that it's not authentic to schedule your posts, as they should be more of a spur of a moment thing - but clearly those people don't know what it's like to blog, work full time and maintain a social life. Without the scheduling tool there is no way I'd be able to post as much as I do! This also goes for social media posts. I like to promote a new post a couple of times throughout the launch day to ensure that I reach as many different people as possible, but in reality I just don't have the time to be doing this during the day as I'm at work. I'm not a massive fan of scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, as I like to be able to easily log on and edit something from my phone (and I hate the app), so I tend to just write all of my posts on twitter and save them into my drafts, that way all I have to do is press publish throughout the day and my posts will go out when I choose.

4. Stick to a routine

When I slip out of my blogging routine, it's pretty much guaranteed that there won't be any new posts written for the upcoming week and my blog will go a bit quiet. I mentioned before that I like to dedicate a morning to taking my blog photos, and on top of that I like to dedicate one or two evenings a week to writing the posts that I've previously taken the photos before. I know that there will be some weeks when life will just get in the way (and I'm completely okay with that) but I do try to stick to a routine so that I can easily balance everything I've got going on.

5. Invest in a planner

I know planners aren't for everyone, but mine is a lifesaver. I'm the type of person who likes to have everything written down and find that putting pen to paper helps me to remember (strange really when my job and hobby revolves around social media!). I bought my planner from TK Maxx for a bargain price (and it looks so Kate Spade-esque!) and have found it to be a complete lifesaver, especially when working with PR companies as I can remind myself to send post links and take photos of certain products, etc.

6. Relax and enjoy your hobby!

Finally, I think it's really important to remember that blogging is just a hobby (if it's not your job) and it should be fun, not stressful. There's no point stressing yourself out about it, as that way you'll lose some of the enjoyment it brings you. Take it easy and work to a schedule that suits you, even if you're only posting once a week or only sticking to one social media channel - it's your space after all!

How do you stay organised?

Lots of Love,

Becky xo

Pür Minerals 'Secret Crush' Eyeshadow Palette Review

Monday, 7 December 2015

Hello Beauties, I hope you all had a great weekend! This weekend I took a trip to the cinema (something I rarely do) to see The Dressmaker which was absolutely brilliant and completely not what I was expecting, and then I went for a nice 'catch up' meal in Leicester Square with a friend from Uni to plan our trip to Munich this week! Anyway, it seems like forever since I sat down and did a proper beauty review for you all as I've been focussing on some of the more 'advice' posts recently after being inundated with emails asking me questions about my blog and how I keep it running. So, today I thought I would share with you all the Pür Minerals 'Secret Crush' palette as it's been my go-to for everyday looks recently.

The 'Secret Crush' palette is described as a way to add a touch of luxury to your everyday eye look with eight ultrachic nude shimmers and velvety satins. As you can see from the photo, the shades range from the very light 'highlight' colours to the darker smokey nudes, and it also includes a black which I always think is a nice idea as it means you've got liner included in the palette. I think all of the colours are absolutely stunning, but my favourites have to be Admirer and Infatuation as they both have a slight olive green tone to them mixed in with the gold and bronze shimmer, making it the perfect everyday neutral with a difference.

The one thing I would say though, is that the matte shades are nowhere near as brilliant as the shimmers. The shimmers are smooth, buttery and pigmented (similar to the likes of Urban Decay) but I found the mattes to be slightly chalky, hard to blend and not as buttery as described - more so with the darker mattes than the lighter highlight shades. This isn't a huge problem for me as I'll always be more likely to use the shimmery shades instead of the mattes, but it's a little disappointing when the shimmers are so good.

Overall, I really do like this palette and I've been reaching for it a lot recently (I always see this as a sign of a good palette as I have over 25 of them!), it's just a shame about the matte shades. It's also worth mentioning that Pür Minerals do not test on animals, so if you're going cruelty free with your makeup, they may be worth checking out. The Pür Minerals 'Secret Crush' palette is available from HQ Hair here.

Lots of Love,

Becky xo

15 Winter & Festive Blog Post Ideas

Tuesday, 1 December 2015

Hello Beauties! I hope you're all well and had a lovely weekend! Now that it's officially December and it's completely acceptable to go all out Christmas, I thought I'd share with you some festive/winter themed blog post ideas and share the holiday spirit. I'll probably be doing some of these on Lipgloss & Lashes myself over the next 25 days, but feel free to pinch as many as you like - sharing is caring after all!

1. Christmas Gift Guides - now this is a fairly obvious one, and one which I normally do every year. I won't be doing these this year as I just haven't had the time to focus on choosing the right gifts. Personally, I like when these are split up into categories (eg: for him, for her, beauty lovers, tech lovers, office themed, etc) as this makes it easier for me when browsing for gift inspiration, as I often have someone in mind when shopping.

2. Christmas Wish Lists - If you're anything like me, there will be some bits and bobs you're wishing for this Christmas, so why not share them with your readers. You never know, someone buying you a gift may be reading your post!

3. Your Holiday Traditions - I'm sure most of you have one or two unique holiday traditions which you and your family have been doing for years, and I'd love to know what they are!

4. A Festive Makeup Look - Festive makeup calls for sparkles and red lips, it's one of the only times of year I feel comfortable going all out with my makeup, so why not share it with everyone, and include some of your favourite festive products.

5. Winter Accessories Edit - Winter calls for a whole host of new accessories (scarves, gloves, hats, ear muffs, etc) so why not share your top picks with your readers, I know it's something I would love to read.

6. Winter Pamper Night Routine - winter is the perfect time for a cosy pamper night in, so share the products you love to pamper yourself with, and maybe some of your favourite things to do on a cosy night in.

7. An Overview of the Previous Year - This is something I do every year and definitely something I'll be doing this year. I keep this blog as a form of online journal, and I share a huge part of my life with you all, so each year I like to go over everything (the good, the bad, the ugly) and keep a note of everything I've learnt over the past year. It's also nice to include some goals for the upcoming year too.

8. Your Winter Skincare Routine - Your skin needs extra attention during the cold winter months, so it's the perfect time to share your skincare saviours and some of the products you use to combat the harsh winter weather.

9. Your Christmas Wrapping - this may seem like an odd one, but I love wrapping all of my Christmas presents and each year I have a theme (last year's was white sparkles and purple) and I'd love to get inspiration from some of the blogs I follow.

10. Christmas Money Saving Tips - Christmas can be expensive so I'd definitely love to read any money saving tips some of you may have picked up along the way!

11. 2016 Goals & Resolutions - I never ever stick to my new years resolutions, but I still like to post them each year - just incase.

12. Festive Party Outfit Ideas - December is a month full of parties and festive get togethers, so I'd love to see some outfit inspiration from some of the blogs I follow.

13. DIY Gift Ideas - not all gifts are bought on the high street, and I know some of you are brilliant at DIY so why not share some of your ideas?

14. Festive Blog Post Ideas - share your own!

15. Your Christmas day Routine - everyone seems to spend Christmas Day differently and have different things they like to do and I'd love to know how you spend yours.

Lots of Love,

Becky
